General Laborer

Casper, WY - Full Time


Sletten Construction is looking for General Laborers to support current construction projects in the state of
Wyoming. The General Laborer is responsible for assisting the construction team by performing tasks involving
physical labor. Laborers may operate hand and power tools during construction projects. This is an entry level
position that is pivotal to completing projects on time and within budget. Must be able to pass a pre-employment
drug and alcohol test.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and preparing sites for construction
  • Assist with moving construction materials from the staging area to the installation location
  • Clean-up of site after construction
  • Assist other craft workers as needed
  • Must work quickly, productively, and safely without error and consistently meet the production goals as set by the Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager.
  • Must consistently produce quality workmanship as judged by company standards
  • Must comply with all company safety and personnel policies
Qualifications
  • Must have own transportation
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening
  • Must be over 18
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 80 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, work at heights, walk/work in rough terrain in order to access equipment, tools, materials, and jobsite in order to complete work.

  • Wage rates are $26/hour and up depending on experience
  • Health insurance is provided after 3 months of continuous employment to the employee (dependents can be added for additional premium)
