Carpenter - Commercial Construction

Sletten Construction is looking for Carpenters to support current construction projects in the state of Washington, in and around Puyallup.
 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must work quickly, productively and safely without error and consistently meet the production goals as set by the Foreman, Superintendent or Project Manager.
• Must consistently produce quality workmanship as judged by Company standards.
• Must comply with all company safety and personnel policies.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 80 lbs.
• Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, work at heights, walk/work in rough terrain in order to access equipment, tools, materials, and jobsite in order to complete work.
• Alter, repair, and construct a variety of building structures such as walls, partitions, doorways, window casings, stairways, and roofs.
• Tape and finish drywall.
• Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company and support our goal of achieving zero accidents. 

 Qualifications

• Must be over 18
• Must have own transportation
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Ability to read structural plans and design documents
• Understanding of design/build concepts
• Must be willing to travel to job sites

Additional Information

• Wage rates are $25-$40/hour depending on experience
• Health insurance is provided after 3 months of continuous employment to the employee (family can be added for additional premium)
