The primary function of the Assistant Superintendent is to assist with scheduling, coordination, and
supervision of craft employees and subcontractors on a project site. The Assistant Superintendent will
work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Review project documents including plans and specifications
  • Review all subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Understand the items of work
  • Become familiar with the scheduling requirements
  • Assist with managing and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers on the project
  • Handle daily project problems with assistance from Superintendent as required
  • Verify field dimensions when necessary
  • Review all submittals and keep them filed in an orderly fashion
  • Keep job site safe and clean
  • Keep office trailer and tool room/truck clean and orderly
  • Maintain equipment
  • Ensure that required equipment is on the project when needed
  • Assist in keeping track of change order work and extra work
  • Monitor and ensure that punch list items are completed in a timely manner
  • Assist with and attend weekly subcontractor meetings
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years carpentry experience
  • Past leadership experience is preferred.
  • Computer skills are required
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed office management and organizational skills
Additional Information
  • Home office is located in Casper, WY but travel will be required
  • Work environment is a combination of outdoors and indoors
